ICE Deports 9 Individuals With Criminal Convictions

The deportations followed immigration judges' removal orders.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement deported nine individuals with criminal convictions in late September, according to the Department of Homeland Security. The deportations, which took place between September 22 and 27, came after removal orders issued by immigration judges.

Among those removed were Marco Antonio Marcias-Fernandez, from Mexico, convicted of first-degree murder and armed carjacking, deported September 25; Jose Manchame-Morales, from Guatemala, deported September 26 following conviction for involuntary manslaughter; Juan Leonardo Parra Altamirano, from Ecuador, deported September 24 after conviction for leaving the scene of personal injury and death; and Ramon Antonio Bonifacio, from the Dominican Republic, deported September 22 with convictions for attempted murder, third-degree assault, criminal possession of cocaine, and attempted criminal sale of narcotic drugs.

Also deported were Luis Alfredo Macario Pol, from Guatemala, following conviction for first-degree sexual assault of a minor; Phi Van Tran, from Vietnam, with a conviction for touching a child for lustful purposes and arrests for aggravated assault and aggravated battery; Pekings Aziwung, from Cameroon, following rape conviction; Nehemias Omar Garcia-Martinez, from Honduras, with convictions for second-degree rape and second-degree assault; and Hoang Nhan Truong, from Vietnam, with convictions for human trafficking for forced labor, conspiracy to possess dangerous drugs for sale, vehicle theft, shoplifting, possession of narcotics, solicitation to possess marijuana for sale, and possession of marijuana.
